Luanda, July 2016
Both legs flown on the Airbus A340 tail number CS-TOB and both flights during daytime. I really miss working on the A340. When the A330neo came, its total lack of innovation for cabin crew was a big disappointment. At least the A340 had enough stowage space and compartments, adequate number of lavatories, better legroom in economy class, etc... It was like getting the very same aircraft like the A340 - 24 years earlier - with a nice IFE system and mood lighting, but everything else way worse.

Luanda Airport's tarmac is always an interesting sight. Beside commercial aviation, most of the times I was there, I was able see and hear those wonderful Il-76. This time I only photographed the commercial aircraft sitting on the tarmac: Lufthansa and South African A330s and TAAG 777s.

I also took a nice pano photo of the economy class which you can see on my Flickr.
