New York, December 2025
After having completed 18 years as a flight attendant, I don't feel the urge to be constantly visiting places. That said, I spare my bidding points to what really matters to me. I like to spend home at Christmas so I used my points to bid a flight to New York that would guarantee me days off on December 24 and 25. A nice opportunity to see Christmas lights and decorations in one my favorite cities in the world.

Newark Liberty
Newark Liberty
A repeated scene at Newark airport is parking side by side with Lufthansa's 747-8. On the other side I found SAS's A321LR and La Compagnie's A321neo.

Manhattan
On the very same night I arrived I went to Manhattan (we were staying at Downtown Brooklyn) to go the Strand Bookstore that I took knowledge of while watching Netflix's "Dash & Lily" show. I found a book with the title Air747 on the aviation section which I took with me.
On my way back to the hotel I stopped at Washington Square Park:
Next day, I went to see the Rockefeller tree. A very bad idea because the place was way overcrowded and I feel super uneasy in the middle of crowds. I quickly tried to find my way back to the hotel...
The Empire State, always a favorite of mine that dominates the entire midtown.

& Dumbo
The day I was flying back to Lisbon I decided to take a stroll in Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo, in the morning. These neighborhoods have got to be some of the best places to live in New York.
