Milano - Castello Sforzesco

Honestly, Milan is far from my favorite layovers. So I decided that I should stay in the room and study for my exam next June 18.

Hotel view

Having a dark hotel room and this kind of window view doesn't help when you try to find the beautiful side of a city and get motivated to it. But weather was warm and sunny and for me it's quite impossible to stay an entire day inside a room without getting depressed, so I decided to walk towards the center of Milan and have lunch there. It was a 30-minute walk along the Corso Sempione, then crossing Parco Sempione and then.... wait... the castle! I always wanted to give a visit to the castle. Castles were one of my favorite subjects of my childhood.

So I got inside and took some photos with my smartphone.

Castello Sforzesco

After visiting the castle I was getting really hungry but fortunately the Piazza del Duomo was just 5 minutes away.

Next day, another early morning as usual... We departed from Linate Airport.

Our A319 @ LIN...

... and a photo of Iberia's A321 with special titles.

"Orgullosos de nuestra selección"

This last photo was taken from our Airbus CS-TTA which ironically carried the portuguese national football team to Poznan in Poland the previous day. Unfortunately our aircraft had no special titles...
